NEWS UPDATE (AUGUST 2011) A] Abstract submission deadline has been extended to the 10th of September The final deadline for abstract submission has been extended to the 10th of September. After the final deadline, submitted abstracts will only be considered for poster presentations. Accepted abstracts for presentations will only be included in the programme if those presenting them are fully registered. B] Accommodation deadline has been extended to the 10th of September Conference Venue: Laura Beach Hotel, Paphos, Cyprus A new final deadline has been negotiated with the venue hotel for late bookings with an increase of 5 euros per person per night included in the room bill as from 25th of August. The final deadline is the 10th of September. No rooms can be guaranteed at the venue hotel after the final deadline and if there is still room availability the cost is likely to increase further. In the case that the venue hotel is fully booked the organisers will be contacted for other possible accommodation options. D] The 19th ICOC Proceedings Book published in Hemoglobin A free copy of the 19th ICOC proceedings, which took place in London, UK and published in the journal Hemoglobin this year will be available to the first 75 fully registered participants of the 21st ICOC.

Abstracts will be selected for presentation based on scientific merit and related to any of the topics of the conference. The papers will be selected from the submitted abstracts by a panel of the scientific committee. The authors of the selected papers will be informed about the selection of their papers after the completion of the conference.
