Accommodation The venue of the 21st ICOC is the LAURA BEACH HOTEL (269 twin rooms, mountain and sea view) in Paphos, Cyprus (www.dhcyprotels.com, /subsection Hotels/subsection Cyprus/subsection Laura beach hotel). Booking and payment arrangements should be made directly with the venue hotel as described below by the 10th of July 2011 the latest, requesting the special package arrangement for the 21st ICOC conference. Early booking is advisable because of the tourist season. Only a limited number of rooms are available and will be allocated on first come first served basis. Participants can extend their stay before or after the conference under the same price and conditions as described below. LAURA BEACH HOTEL, PAPHOS, CYPRUS (Conference Venue) **** (Four Star) The hotel is situated on the beach in the greenbelt of Chlorakas, off the beach road to the west of Paphos, 6 km and about 8 minutes drive from the centre of Paphos, 20 km and about 30 minutes drive from Paphos airport and 150 km and 110 minutes drive from Larnaca airport. The hotel can be reached by bus, taxi or hired car from Paphos and Larnaca airports. There are three sandy beaches, one directly in front of the hotel and the other two, a five minutes walk from the hotel. There are many leisure facilities within the hotel such as swimming pools, gym, tennis courts and also in a close proximity from the hotel eg a golf course, which is directly opposite the hotel. Room hire costs - The same prices are available for extra 3 days before or after the conference a] Sharing a room, double occupancy (two persons sharing one room): Bed and breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks (All inclusive**) at a total of 120.00 euros per day for two persons. A total of 480.00 euros from Thursday at 14.00 to Monday 12.00. b] Single room, single occupancy (one person): Bed and breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks (All Inclusive**) at a total of 75.00 euros per day. A total of 300.00 euros from Thursday at 14.00 to Monday 12.00. c] Executive Bungalow Suites ( only 6 available): Prices are per day and are in the All inclusive** deal a) Single person: 110 euros b) Double (two persons): 170 euros c) Triple (three persons) 240 euros d] Participants not staying at the conference venue Laura Beach Hotel an All Inclusive** deal for food and drinks has been arranged at 35.00 euros per person, per day (payable to the hotel). *Children sharing parent's room max two, ages 2-12y. On All inclusive children pay 15.00 euros each per day ** DETAILS OF THE ALL INCLUSIVE DEAL ARRANGEMENT This arrangement applies for all those staying in the conference venue Laura Beach Hotel as described above. It also applies for participants not staying at the conference venue Laura Beach Hotel by paying 35.00 euros per person, per day (payable to the hotel). In both cases for the All Inclusive arrangement Identification bracelets have to be wear from the day of arrival to the date of departure. The bracelets are allergy tested and free of PVC : MEALS: 1) Buffet breakfast (07:00 -10:00), lunch (12:30 - 14:30) and dinner (19:00 - 21:30). 2) Buffet hot and cold snacks from 10:30-12:00, 15:00-18:00 and 22:00-23:00 excluding meal hours. 3) Local ice creams for children up to 12 years old (10:00 - 18:00) from the pool bar. BEVERAGES: 1) Selection of local alcoholic drinks, cocktails, beers, wines, juices (i.e. orange, grapefruit) and soft drinks (cola, seven up, fizzy orange) 10:00 - 23:00 in all bars (open bars may vary). After you have finished your current drink, you allow having only one drink per person per order. 2) Selection of wines and water, draught beer, juices and soft drinks during meals. 3) Purified water (07:00 - 23:00). 4) Filter coffee and tea from all available bars (10:00 - 23:00). If you wish to offer a drink or have an imported drink, then these will be charged on your account SPORTS: 1) Other sports: squash court (indoor) and 2 tennis courts (hard & soft - floodlit at a charge), table tennis, water polo, beach-volley, shuffleboard, beach badminton, petanque. . 2) Health Club: modern gymnastic & cardiovascular equipment, jacuzzi, aerobic and aquaerobic classes, stretching, all supervised by a qualified instructor. ANIMATION / ENTERTAINMENT: 1) Multi-lingual animation team that organises an exciting and varied day and night entertainment programme daily (10:00 - 24:00). 2) "Sunsmile" Mini Club with multi-lingual child carers, run on European Union Safety and Hygiene standards. Open 6 days a week from 10:00-12:00 & 15:00-17:00) and welcomes children between the ages of 4 and 12 years. Baby sitting on request (at a charge). 3) Several theme nights (BBQ, Cyprus Night, Italian etc.) are organised frequently. Disco Nights, Cyprus Folklore, Cabaret & Dancing Shows, Casino, competitions and many other events are in the animation team's weekly programme. 4) Live music is available several times per week.
